How to use
How to use
How to use your Qruik® safely. A few simple steps for lots of warm, comfortable moments.
Check the bottle & stopper
Before each use, check for cracks, wear, deformation, damage or leaks. Do not use the hot water bottle if damaged.
Use hot, not boiling water
Use hot water, but never boiling water. Recommended temperature: 55–60°C.
Fill to a maximum of ⅔
Hold the hot water bottle upright by the neck and fill it slowly. Never fill it more than two-thirds full.
Remove excess air
Carefully squeeze the hot water bottle until the water becomes visible at the opening.
Tighten the stopper securely
Only use the original Qruik® stopper or the supplied spare stopper. Hand-tight is sufficient.
Check for leaks
Carefully turn the hot water bottle upside down over the sink. If it leaks, do not use it.
Hot water bottles can cause burns. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin. Always use the hot water bottle with the soft Qruik® cover. Never allow children to use the hot water bottle without supervision.

Made with care
Soft for you. Carefully chosen.
Recycled polyester
The soft outer fabrics of our Qruik® items are made from recycled polyester. No individual GRS certificate has been issued for our own small production runs.
GRS-certified manufacturer
Our manufacturer holds GRS certification (Global Recycled Standard). This supports the traceability and control of recycled materials within the certified production chain. We therefore communicate about the manufacturer's certification, rather than suggesting that every individual Qruik® product is GRS-certified.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
The textile materials used fall under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and have been tested for harmful substances. On our website, we use wording that matches exactly what is covered by the relevant certificate number.
amfori BSCI
We also work with a manufacturer that is audited according to the amfori BSCI programme, which includes attention to working conditions and social standards within the factory.
